 Our History

Started shop in backyard in 1984 as a pattern shop working with local foundries and pattern shops. This continued until 1992 when I left a full employment job to venture out on my own.

Worked until 1995 until pattern work became almost non-existents. Fell back on my machinist background and re-started the business and added machine to the name. In 1999 I was introduced to a concrete pumping equipment manufacture and became in the next few years their main supplier for machined parts. This again went well until 2008 when they in order to keep their profits up started sending their machine work to CHINA.

This almost put me out of business and the only saving grace was the quality of the Chinese parts had a lot to be desired. We fix a few of them and charged a fair price, as if we had made them, they only told me to fix one problem, the next day they returned the parts with another problem thus the same applied. The owner was upset and implied if it’s going to cost us this much to repair their (China) work we might as well let him make the parts.

From mid-2009 until mid-2019 everything was great plenty of work and didn’t have to look. Hired 3 employees. Then we see parts coming in from China that we had been making for over 20 years. They also sent some of our work (from a company they purchased in 2015) to a shop that didn’t have a machine shop thus had to farm the machine work out. Yet they claim that we are too high. So the dilemma has popped its ugly head again. What do we have to do to stay in business?

Well with the knowledge we have gained in the last 20 years says some from them and some from just paying attention to the products, we are embarking on a new adventure of becoming a competitor instead of a supplier. Our goal is to furnish American made parts to the concrete pumping and Seal Coat industries at a fair price.

We have already been developing new alternatives to the age long ways of making parts combining parts and casting them, while still machining parts.

Thanks for looking and considering us for your parts replacement. We will assist in helping develop you parts if you are having a hard time getting or the price and quality are a problem.
